While Sitting:

    • Avoid chairs that swivel, roll, or tip backwards easily. These will fatigue your back.
    • Make sure your spine is fully supported by your chair and that your knees are level or slightly higher than your hips.
    • Get up frequently and move around – sitting in the same place is hard on your back.
    • When you get in and out of the car, try to keep your back straight and avoid stooping.
